FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

BOOKING

  • My signature bridal look is definitely soft glam, people often say that they can recognize my brides on an Instagram feed. I love simple eye looks paired with blushy & glowy skin.

It includes a flawless complexion with well-blended foundation and concealer, soft & neutral eyeshadow shades, defined but not overly bold eyeliner, pop of blush, and a natural lip color.

The focus is on creating a radiant and glowing complexion while keeping the overall look timeless, romantic, & sophisticated.

  • Please fill out my booking form so that I can see how to best serve you. Emails are responded to Tuesdays & Thursdays. Your date will be officially secured once you submit a retainer and a signed agreement.

  • Dates usually fill up 6-12 months in advance, so IMMEDIATELY!

  • In order to secure your wedding day, a retainer fee is required along with the signed contract. The booking fee will go towards the overall total. The remaining balance is due 7 days prior to your event date.

  • In my experience, booking this appointment 2-4 months before the wedding day is more beneficial as you have a clearer vision and details are falling in place.

Trials are not held on Saturdays or Sundays. You will receive a link with availability so you can book your appointment. Other arrangements can be made based on availability.

Trials are held on weekdays at my private studio in Benicia Ca.

Your trial is not guaranteed to line up with a special event.

  • Trials are held Monday - Thursday between the hours of 9-4:30pm at my private studio in Benicia Ca. Due to space restrictions, I ask that only the bride attend the appointment. Please allow 2 hours per trial.

  • I will need to know a firm number for services at signing to make sure I’m able to accommodate everyone in your group. I don’t allow any deductions or add-ons to the service count after the contract is signed.

  • To make sure I’m the right artist to bring your vision to life, I recommend bringing inspiration for your look from my portfolio or instagram page. I may not be the right artist for you if you are unable to find inspiration from one of my signature looks.

  • Because I provide bridal makeup services for a living, I must reserve in-demand dates for larger groups or my bride only package may be booked.

If you have a question about a certain package, I would be more than happy to schedule a call with you to further clarify.

  • I take a few destination weddings a year! Inquire for a full quote and my availability.

  • The demand for my services during peak wedding months is very high, and for that reason, dates can not be held for any period of time. My availability is offered on a first come, first serve basis and is only secured by completing a signed contract + retainer fee.

  • I tell my clients that contracts are not “soul binding”. Signing a contract confirms to me that you are serious about booking my services and gives me more information about your wedding. If you sign a contract and then decide to go in a different direction you must cancel at least 90 days before your wedding to not be responsible for the full invoice amount.

Please review my portfolio & instagram to be sure my artistry style & techniques matches your vision.

  • Yes, I do offer rehearsal dinner makeup services. However, please note that for all Friday and Saturday reservations, there is a minimum service amount requirement of 4 (bride included). This means that a minimum of 4 services must be booked for the rehearsal dinner.

For individual appointments that do not meet the minimum service amount, availability can be inquired about 30 days prior to the event. Please reach out to check for availability closer to the date.

DAY - OF

  • Full service Makeup Touch Ups + Concierge Amenities (up to 5 hours) are available. Touch ups start when wedding morning services are completed. They are for those who received any type of makeup service only and take place in one location. Travel to another location is not included.

  • Our start time will solely depend on your desired finish time. Finish times are usually determined by your photographer or planner. I will work backwards from that time to determine when we will need to start makeup to guarantee we finish on time.

Average start times for wedding day makeup services is 7 am but will depend on what time your group needs to be ready & the amount of services needed.

Here’s an example timeline for a group of 5 with a ready time at 1 pm:

    Artist Arrival/Set up 7:30 AM

    Guest Makeup 1 8:00 AM

    Guest Makeup 2 9:00 AM

    Bride 10:00 AM

    Guest Makeup 4 11:30 AM

    Touch Ups/Tear Down 12:30 PM

    Complete 1 PM

  • I prefer brides to be second or third to last & never last for the most relaxing experience in my chair.

  • Chat with your hairstylist and ask them what they recommend! I’m flexible when you get your hair done but I would prefer no overlapping with services. This way I can have you completely still while I do your makeup.

  • Chat with your photographer first to find out when they will be starting photos. You’ll want everyone about 95% ready before the photographer arrives. “Getting Ready” photos are usually staged and taken at the very end during touch-up time.

As a guide 2-3 hrs prior to your ceremony will give you plenty of time to get any pre-ceremony photos done, get dressed, & not be stressed leading up to the ceremony.

  • Absolutely! We can definitely use the bridal suite for your makeup services. However, please keep in mind that we require a large space with ample natural light, electrical plugs, and tables to ensure that we can perform all services in a timely manner.

Before confirming the use of the bridal suite, it is important to check with your venue regarding the access time. Some venues may have restrictions on entry later in the day, which could potentially cause delays to the schedule. It's important to coordinate with the venue to ensure a smooth and efficient makeup preparation process.

  • Certainly! For each bridesmaid or mom's makeup, I require approximately 60 minutes to ensure a flawless and beautiful look. As for the bride, I allocate around 90 minutes to give extra attention to every detail and create a stunning bridal makeup look.

In addition to the individual makeup application times, I also include time for set up and touch-ups before I leave. This ensures that everything is perfectly in place and that you and your bridal party look picture-perfect throughout the event. Rest assured, I will make sure to allocate enough time for each person's makeup and provide any necessary touch-ups as needed.

  • Please arrive with a fresh clean face and wear an open front top that is easy to remove.

Please gently exfoliate your skin and apply a generous amount of moisturizer- essential to boost the finish & longevity of your wedding day makeup.
